MARRIAGE LICENSE
A marriage license is valid anywhere in Manitoba. The license must be obtained no more than three (3) months before the wedding date, and no later than twenty-four (24) hours prior to the ceremony.
The couple must both be present and at least eighteen (18) years of age when the license is issued.
Proof of age must be shown to the Marriage License Issuer. Divorced persons must produce their Divorce or Decree Absolute.
Widowers and widows must produce a death certificate. No blood test is required in Manitoba.
